Boom Boom Que was born from smoke, fire, and a whole lot of heart. What started on the professional barbecue circuit is now a hometown spot serving award-winning BBQ with big flavor and even bigger passion.
Our Story
Boom Boom Que lit its first fire in 2014, not in a restaurant—but on the professional barbecue circuit. Founded by Garland Stone, an engineer with a passion for the science of smoking food with serious flavor, Boom Boom started as a “just in case” side project… you know, in case the very expensive hobby turned into something bigger. (Spoiler alert: it did.) What began as a weekend team of very serious BBQ-loving friends quickly earned a rep as a force to be reckoned with, racking up awards, perfecting rubs and sauces, and leaving a trail of very full, very happy guinea pigs—er, friends—along the way. Turns out, the leftovers were just as popular as the trophies.
Fast forward, and Boom Boom Que is now bringing our love for barbeque to White House, Tennessee—just north of the Music City. We’re not your standard BBQ joint. We’re blending award-winning que with live-fire cooking, cold brews, creative specials, and a family-friendly vibe you can’t get just anywhere. Whether you’re chompin’ on ridiculously good BBQ, chillin’ with a cold one on the patio, or posted up at the bar completely hypnotized by the live fire magic, one thing’s for sure—this ain’t your backyard BBQ.
